What do I need to bring the first day?

Bring a sketch book, pen and pencil, along with your laptop with the Adobe Creative Suite installed along with InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Can I get college credit for this?

No. Bootcamp is a post-grad program intended to help companies with lower marketing budgets. Bootcamp provides team members tasked with developing basic marketing materials in-house with training in basic design, production, and execution skills.

What skills do I need to have?

No formal education in design is necessary, many team members tasked with creating marketing materials in-house don’t have one. Many small businesses don’t have huge marketing budgets and view hiring a creative agency as out of the question. So, team members with a regular position within the company with a willingness to help, an eye for design and a computer are tasked with the job. If that’s you, or someone on your team, then Bootcamp will put you on the right path to obtain necessary skills.

What skills will I graduate with?

Bootcamp is intended to serve companies with lower marketing budgets and have team members within their company pulling double-duty as graphic designers. This program will put them on the path to understanding how to defend their brand, build basic marketing materials, create art for social media, and understand how to communicate with their print vendors, while also continuing in their own training after bootcamp. If you want a career in Graphic Design, we recommend formal training.
